First timer

It's late and I'm still up. I think this is my first personal post here. And since I am not that familiar with this environment because the last time I had a blog was on my high school years and I deleted it because of some friend quarrel. But yeah really I regretted it. haha. well enough of this long message. I will be posting some more of my crazy stuffs and also an updates on my life if any one of you is interested whenever I feel like writing. :D

Mga magsasaka, DAR, nagkainitan sa usapan tungkol sa Luisita

"’Yung panloloko ng mga Cojuangco simula sapul sa gobyerno, kung paano niya ginamit ang pera ng gobyerno, at ngayon, katangahan na naman ng gobyerno para i-compensate na naman ulit," mainit na pahayag ni Joseph Canlas ng Alyansa ng Magbubukid ng Gitnang Luzon.

Umabot ng 3 oras ang unang dayalogo ng mga magsasaka at ng Department of Agrarian Reform kaninang umaga. Ito'y para pag-usapan ang proseso ng implementasyon ng utos ng Korte Suprema sa Hacienda Luisita.

Pero sa usapin pa lang ng pagbabayad sa hinihinging just compensation na tinukoy ng pangulo noong isang linggo, hindi ito tinatanggap ng mga magsasaka.

Canlas: “Ipaabot niyo po kay Presidente Noynoy Aquino... At nang hindi natin niloloko pare-parehas ‘yung sarili natin.”

DAR Undersecretary Anthony Parungao: “Kung gusto ko pong makipaglokohan, eh di sana um-oo na lang ako sa lahat ng sinasabi ninyo.”

Giit ng mga magsasaka, wala sa utos ng korte na kailangan nilang bayaran ang lupa, pero ayon sa DAR, nasa Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program nakapaloob ang desisyon ng korte na kailangan nila itong bilhin sa loob ng 30 taon.

Jun Luna ng Unyon ng Manggagawa sa Agrikultura: “Ngayon hindi kayo makatindig. Ano ang gagawin niyo ngayon niyan? Bibigyan niyo ba ng compensation ‘yan?”

Parungao: “Teka, nagiging argumentong politikal na ito eh.”

Siniguro ng DAR sa mga magsasaka na ang susundin lang nila ay ang magiging pinal na desisyon ng Korte Suprema.

Sabi ni Parungao, "Naiintindahan ko po ‘yung adbokasiya ninyo, gagawin din po namin... trabaho namin. At least, nagkakaintindihan tayo diyan. "

Sa huli, nagkamayan din ang mga opisyal ng DAR at ang mga magsasaka.

Nakatakda namang magsampa ng mosyon ang HLI sa Korte Suprema para ipaliwanag ang isyu ng halaga ng lupa at bilang ng mga benepisaryo.

The issue about the controversial Hacienda Luicita seems to be familiar to all of us. I even watched the documentary about this when I was in my high school years. Many years had passed but still, the problem among the farmers of the Hacienda against the Cojuangco-Aquino family seems to have no end. The news article states that the farmers would still have to pay an amount of money not more than 30 years for the said land. Of course, I expect that they would not agree on that. But according to DAR Undersecretary Anthony Parungao that they should abide to the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program. I am really hoping that in the next days to come, our president Noynoy Aquino (well, expecting an honest trial about this) will give just compensation to the farmers and for them to have peace in their hearts. I know Noynoy's virtue is "kung walang corrupt, walang mahirap", but seeing all the problems in our country today, being an uncorrupted president is only a small factor on what he should have done in the past years and in what he shall do in the future years to come.
